Join us for the Tech Action Working Group's January meeting!

The topic for this meeting is "From Net Neutrality to Public Internet." Obviously net neutrality has been on everyone's minds. Our goal for this meeting is to shift our thinking about net neutrality away from liberal tech regulation and toward the conflict between public and private ownership. Gotta develop that socialist perspective!

As with previous meetings the emphasis will be on group discussion. But speaking to us beforehand, to give us even more meat to chew on, will be:

* Yasha Levine, journalist and author of the forthcoming book "Surveillance Valley: The Secret Military History of the Internet", and
* Evan Malmgren, writer, Tech Action member, and author of recent articles about net neutrality and municipal broadband.

Stay tuned for readings and discussion questions which will be posted here soon.

See y'all soon!
