Labor & Socialism 101

  • Sixth Street Community Center 638 East 6th Street New York, NY 10009 (map)

What does it mean to be in the labor movement?
It means creating unions that share power equally among workers in a given industry.
It means building a strategy to win gains for working people that will translate into future wins down the line. This isn't always easy, but educating yourself is the first step down the path to a free socialist society.

Please join the NYC-DSA Labor Branch for an event open to anyone who wants to learn more about what a real labor movement looks like, the importance of workplace power to building socialism, and the political power that comes from democratizing our workplaces.
