We are holding our first of a series of tenant organizing trainings, where we will be training members who live in rent-stabilized housing to organize tenant associations in their buildings.
We are preparing ourselves not only to collectively fight for material improvements in our buildings, but also for universal rent control.
If you are interested in participating in the training, please complete this survey to register!
We have a cap of 30 participants for this first training. If the number of survey responses exceeds our cap, we will prioritize woman and people of color tenants, and tenants who live in rent stabilized buildings with the most immediate, material problems (i.e., no heat and a lack of repairs, putting them in a strategic position for organizing). We will also aim for representation of tenants from each branch.
