Join the South Brooklyn Political Education Committee and the Immigrant Justice Working Group for a screening of Jim McKay's new film, En el Séptimo Día. The fiction film is set in Sunset Park, and follows the lives of undocumented men working in the service industry and playing in a local soccer league. Spanish + English subtitles are both provided.
The event will take place in a community garden, so bring bug spray, warm clothes, and blankets for sitting on picnic-style. Please note there is no drinking in the community garden.
We can provide seats for folks who need chairs, and there will be pizza + snacks, and (likely) a Q&A with cast members following the screening.
This event is free + open to the public.
**Rain location: Cherry Tree Bar
