The echoes of the fight for immigrant justice and workers' rights call out to us from Haymarket Square, informing our present day struggle against the forces of capitalism, imperialism, and white supremacy. The Trump administration has been fanning these flames at home and abroad, threatening the lives and livelihoods of immigrants the world over.
We will not succumb to fear and hatred. Like the socialist revolutionaries of past eras, we believe another world isn't just possible, but necessary.
On International Workers' Day, join our contingent at the May Day NYC: Workers + Immigrants, We Rise Together rally and march as we reaffirm our solidarity with New York City’s immigrant communities against racist ICE harassment, economic exploitation, and the continued xenophobic aggression of the Trump administration.
We'll gather at the Columbus Circle fountain, so keep an eye out for NYC-DSA flags, banners, and signs! In the meantime, call your legislators and demand they stop ICE arrests inside — AND OUTSIDE — of our courts! Check out our handy calling script at: bit.ly/protectourcourts
